Our support team are all parents themselves who have been through the experience of having a baby born premature or critically ill and we support all families who have spent time in a NICU or Special Care Nursery (including full term who may have been born critically ill and families who have sadly lost their baby due to prematurity or sickness at birth).

Having a baby born requiring specialised care can be overwhelming and Miracle Babies Foundation are here to support and guide you every step of the way through peer support, resources and information.

Your hospital may also have a Miracle Babies Team Member that visits the unit regularly to provide cot-side peer support. You can ask the nurses in your Neonatal unit to see whether they are a partnering Hospital for Miracle Babies NurtureTime.

Miracle Babies resources may also be provided to your Hospital, again check with the nurses.

Miracle Babies Foundation NurtureGroup is a free play and support group for families who have experienced the birth of a premature or sick newborn. We welcome all families who have had a baby born requiring specialised, hospital care from birth until starting school.

We offer a safe and secure environment for children from birth to starting school, who have been challenged by prematurity or sickness in which they can learn and develop through play, whilst offering families ongoing parent support after leaving the safety of a NICU/Special Care Nursery. Parents and carers can exchange ideas on parenting, tackle medical issues, share stories, build support networks, form friendships and ease the isolation that can often be felt by families of premature and sick newborns.
