Bumbleride began in San Diego in 2004, sparked by the arrival of our co-founders’ first child, Ella. Matt and Emily Reichardt built the brand from their home with a simple but powerful idea: that parenting and adventure don’t have to be separate worlds. From trail runs to market strolls, our strollers are designed to keep pace with active families—crafted from the ground up with thoughtful feedback from real parents.
Every material we choose—whether it’s aluminum, plastic, or fabric—is selected with care. Durability, safety, and performance are non-negotiables, but we also prioritise environmental impact. Our fabrics are made entirely from recycled PET bottles and certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class I, meaning they’re free from harmful chemicals. Even our black colourways use a water-conserving dye process that saves up to 40 gallons per stroller.
Since our founding, bumbleride have partnered with the same family-run factory in Taiwan. Their focus is bumbleride, and together—with 50 independent suppliers who bring their own unique expertise—we’ve built a supply chain rooted in craftsmanship and care.
They know parents have enough on their plates. That’s why their promise is simple: deliver high-performance gear that works effortlessly, backed by service that truly supports. Because when your stroller helps you embrace life’s messiness, movement, and meaning, it’s more than just a product—it’s part of the ride of your life.
