About Baby Einstein

Baby Einstein was founded in 1996 by Julie Aigner-Clark, a mother and former teacher from Georgia. Inspired by her love of the arts, she set out to create a simple, engaging way to introduce young children to music, language, poetry, colours, shapes, and more.

Her first video—featuring playful puppets alongside the works of classical composers—quickly gained recognition, winning Parenting Magazine’s Best Video of the Year in 1997. What began as a passion project soon grew into a beloved series, now recognised worldwide as the Baby Einstein brand.

Today, Baby Einstein continues to honour Julie’s original vision. Created as a tool to support parents, the brand remains grounded in the belief that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers.
